Hello there!

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by!  I am a stay at home mom to three beautiful children and Navy wife to my amazing husband.  We have been married six years and have moved six times during that time!  We moved to Virginia Beach at the end of 2015 for a second time and are so glad to be “home”.  We tend to love everywhere we live (thank goodness) and find that our family is stronger than ever as we push through deployments, underways, late nights, travel, and unforeseen moves all the time.  Honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way!

My business started in 2015, rooting from my love of taking pictures of my own children, and realizing that I could take this passion and capture these same moments and memories for other families.  My absolute favorite photos are those of “real life” – Raw emotion, true laughter, playtime, and snuggles that are such precious memories.  Life is hard..and exhausting and trying and overwhelming…but photos freeze our time together and remind us to be grateful for the gifts we have been given.  As a mom, I appreciate every small moment and know that it is so hard to really take everything in on a day to day business. My goal as a photographer is to bring those moments to life and then capture them in a way that allows each family to be reminded daily of these blessings!

A bit about who I am – My passions are a bit all over the place. I love to be active and know that if I take care of myself in that way, I am a better mom and wife.  I don’t love running, but that seems to be the sport of choice lately with three young children. I ran my first marathon in March of 2015 and, INCREDIBLY surprisingly, would love to run another in hopes of qualifying for Boston (did I just say that out loud!?).  I am a Barre addict – if you haven’t discovered this, you need to.  In my past life, I loved to play volleyball and miss the opportunity to be competitive in that way. Photography has been an interesting outlet for me, and has taken me by surprise. I’m a firm believer that who you are doesn’t have to be just one thing.  We are constantly growing and changing, and I hope to embrace this daily!

I am a huge advocate of honesty (not rude honesty), trueness, pureness, realness…all of those.  I strive to be true to myself and constantly seek to become whom God has created me to be.  My hope is to be open to His voice and leadership in my life at all times.  I have witnessed God’s miracles in my son (read more about that here) and am blessed to be reminded of His mercy and grace daily. I’m nowhere near where I’m sure He wants me to be, but the beauty is in the effort, right?

Thank you for getting to know me, and taking a look at what I do!  I would love to hear from you if you have any questions, or just want to be friends.  I would offer that over a coffee date, but we all know that would be cold coffee in the midst of chaotic children everywhere in a messy house – But my door is open!
